This site is different from most of the other national Tradesmans directories that you see on the TV and hear on the radio. This is a local site aimed at helping local trades and customers. Im based in St Ives, so have a good feel of the local area and its needs.

 

Having worked for  builders merchants for the last 15 years, I have a great deal of experience working with tradesmen and the general public. If I had a pound for each time somebody has asked me...'do you know a good builder/plumber/etc'.......well you probably know the answer. Ive also had to listen to tradesmen telling me how their phones have not been ringing as much lately, and that they are going to sell their tools...



With the housing market being somewhat stagnant of late, more and more people are choosing to improve their own properties rather than sell, thus adding value to their homes when the housing market improves



With this in mind I decided to create a comprehensive directory of tradesmen in the West Cornwall area, thus making it easier for consumers to find the right person for any home improvements or repairs required. It also gives the tradesmen the opportunity to have their own webpage to show potential customers what they can do, and also what they have already done, or merely just to get themselves a presence on the internet, because like it or loathe it this is the future!!
